All arithmetic is built to be done by hand or with the on-screen statistics calculator you will actually get. Reach for your phone in practice and you build a habit the exam punishes.
~40% of the syllabus. You probably know the algebra — but conditional probability, expected value and binomials under time pressure are new.
A CAS checks open entry. Practise exact forms — 3/4 not 0.75 when asked, simplified radicals, correct signs.
40 questions, 120 minutes. Flag anything past 4 minutes and move on — one stubborn question can sink three easy ones.
Invalid log roots, +20% then −20% ≠ 0%, independent vs mutually exclusive, sign errors expanding brackets. They recur because they work.
Full length, timed, on-screen calculator only. Your second mock is usually 10–15 points better than your first, purely from pacing.
Slots must be reserved ≥72h ahead, and you may get fewer than 3 attempts. Never sit the real test "to see what it's like" — that's what practice is for.

40 questions in 120 minutes — ~3 min each. 161 topics, ~120 hours of prep recommended. That's the official syllabus figure — higher than the OMPT-A's ~80 h despite fewer topics, because the statistics & probability half is new material for most students and takes longer per topic. Count on less if your base is solid.
Not your own. A statistics digital calculator is provided in the platform — the OMPT-E is the only test that gets it, not the basic one. Train that way.
Depends on your university and programme. Published cutoffs range ~55% (Radboud) to ~75% (most demanding). Check your programme's admission page.
An algebra core (numbers, algebra, linear formulas, systems, quadratics, functions, exponentials & logarithms) plus a statistics half (descriptive statistics, probability, combinatorics, random variables, common distributions). No calculus.
Up to 3 attempts in general, but not every programme allows all three. Verify your programme's retake policy before using an attempt.
Online with live human proctoring, from home. Book ≥72h ahead to avoid last-minute fees. Digital certificate with per-topic scores, generally within 8 working days.
